In less than a month, I'll have been in this same room for a year. (Ha, it's nothing compared to Matt and Axel.)

I keep wondering why all the people I've seen and met and talked to over time have mostly disappeared, and why just a few of us got to stay. Matt said it's because we're amusing or something, which might be true knowing the Voice and everything, but...

I've been reading back on this journal, since I keep forgetting to use it so I have no idea what I last talked about, and I can't believe the last time I was all "wow I've been here for THIS LONG" was back in February. I guess I was right when I said a full year would go by before I knew it.

So if anyone's paying attention to this thing, how much do you think you've changed? Since I'm pretty sure everyone here has in some way, for sure. Are you happy with who you are now? D'you regret anything enough to go back and change it, if you could? And anything else you can think of. I'm just kinda curious. And waiting for this turkey to finish roasting.

... yeah, I know it's almost 6 in the morning. Shh.

I've been here for... wow, three months already. Not as long as you, obviously, but... I dunno, it still doesn't feel like that long, even though a lot has happened with relationships and everything. But I'm pretty happy here, at least. I've only got one thing back home that's worth being there for, even if I had a choice in the matter, so there's more here for me that makes me happy, overall.

Hey, we should hang out sometime, maybe spar a bit. I'm getting rusty here, not having to watch my back all the time.

Yeah, I know what you mean! It doesn't feel like that long, even though a lot of stuff has happened for me, too. It's like... there are times when things are going way too fast, and times when nothing at all is going on, so it's sorta hard to measure time that way, I guess. I'm happy, too. There are a lot of people I wouldn't want ever want to leave here, but... there's home, too. I don't know.

You... want to hang out with me? Really?

Well, I'm guessing you probably have more people to go home to than I do. But yeah, when you've got friends and loved ones from all sorts of different places that aren't where you're from, I would think it would be really hard to imagine ever leaving them.

Sure, why not? You're the only other one here from my world, and... I don't know. There's that little bit of something that we have in common, I guess.

A while ago, we were able to travel between worlds, and visit others and stuff. It would be really cool if it's like that once we finally get out of here! And, well, Riku and Sora and Kai and everyone, I think they have the ability to go between worlds, too. So maybe it won't be so bad.

... I guess I'm just surprised you don't hate me. But! I'm sort of getting rusty too. I'd be up for a spar!

Heh, that must've been nice. Sounds kinda confusing, though. I didn't know there even were other worlds until I ended up here.

...I guess I did, for a while, but then I realized there wasn't actually a reason to. Should I just come find you, then? It seems like you're out in the room more often than me, anyway.

When I was younger, I always thought the stars were different worlds, and I remember wanting really badly to fly up there and see them someday. I totally didn't expect to find out I was right this way, but hey, not complaining. Uh, mostly.

... I'm glad. Yeah! I'll be out somewhere. If you still can't find me, get someone to scream for help in a really high-pitched voice, or possibly a mewl.

Yeah, you seem pretty happy here. I understand why you'd also want to go home, though. It's what you're more familiar with, after all.

Eh, not really. I miss home sometimes, but I left it for a reason. But I'd rather not talk about it here, actually. Too public.

But I'm happy with it. I don't want to change what's happened.

Sometimes it seems like I got here not long ago, other times it feels like more than a lifetime ago.
But I guess I'm pretty much a different person than when I got here, so maybe in a way it was a lifetime.

Well, not completely different. But still much different...more than I would have had I not been here.
Yeah, we don't...we should. I'm not sure why, but I haven't really been talking to the people I used to talk to. Its a pity.
